Yes. Registration is always free.
How can I register?
Please provide details in the "Register FREE" form, then click the "Submit" button and follow the instructions to complete the registration process.

Can I register on behalf of a relative or a friend?
Yes. In the registration form, please mention your relationship to the bride/groom.
How long does it take to register?
The registration can be completed in under 7 minutes.
What information is required to register?
Details of birth, basic details like height and weight, education details, occupation details and family details.
Do I need to provide information and complete all of the fields?
Yes. Almost all of the fields are required to complete your profile registration process. These fields add value to your profile when other members view your profile. Also, this information has been shown to encourage other members to reach out to you.
Can I use the same email address for two accounts?
No. Each profile needs an unique email address and only one email address is accepted for each account. The email address can be changed anytime by editing your profile.
If my mother tongue, religion, caste, city, or profession is not listed to register, what shall I do?
Once you complete the registration, please contact us through the customer care form or submit a ticket with the details and we will respond to you promptly.
What is Gothram, Kootam?
Gothram or Kootam are additional caste classifications.
What is a Star ID?
A Star ID is a unique member identification number assigned to your profile.
Can another member see my profile, as soon as I register my profile?
No. Each profile goes through a review process before approval. Once the approval process is complete, the profile is visible to all members.
Can a non-member of starmatrimony.com view my profile?
No. Only members can see other member profiles.
