Mutual Understanding and Resolving Issues Are Very Important to Save Marriages!

Mutual Understanding and Resolving Issues Are Very Important to Save Marriages!

Marriages are known as the beginning of a relationship with a new approach where both the persons are required to adhere to their responsibilities. When people want to take their relationship to the next level, they propose marriage to a potential partner. The success of the marriage depends on their mutual understanding and how much they have explored every aspect of their relation. Some are successful and some are not, which then leads to the divorces which are also known as the end of Marriages.

To keep a marriage healthy, the issues between both the partners should be clearly understood and resolved as the relationship of marriage does not bind any unwilling actions which are not appreciated by them. The best way of solving the conflicts between married couples is to share the problems with each other. Both the partners face a pressure of the future requirements just after marriage and this leads them to take extra work pressure so that they can provide the other with the facilities which they have dreamed of. Taking their partner as granted is wrong for a healthy married life as there are always consequences to that.

Both the partners who are considering divorce should keep the facts in mind that it is not really easy to live a single life with a divorced status as it may cause psychological and social problems. The most negative effect of separation of a married couple is reflected on their children. Children need both mother and father equally for their development and if the parents of a growing child are getting separated, the child is most likely to suffer from psychological disturbances in their tender age.

The couple should figure out the problems or disturbances bothering their relation and should try to resolve them as soon as possible. Both the partners also should improve their behavior towards each other if they strongly want the marriage to work.

Inter caste marriage – how to persuade parents?

Inter caste marriage - how to persuade parents?

Indian society is a mixture of different castes and religions. Though everybody respects other castes; but when it comes to marriage, parents are comfortable in getting their son or daughter married within their caste. However, the new generation thinks beyond the barriers of caste and religion. Thus, it gets very difficult for them to convince their parents for inter caste marriage. If you are one of those people who have already chosen ‘the perfect match’, but the only problem is of different caste, here are some tips:

Go with full preparation

You should always first prepare yourself before talking and discussing with your parents. Think of all the issues with the possible solutions your parents would be having regarding the inter caste marriage. If your parents react emotionally, never react to that. Instead, give them valid possible answers in reaction.

Understanding with examples

Evidence always works in these types of situations. You can think about all the inter caste marriages within your friends and relatives which turned out to be successful. You can also bring names of those people who had same caste marriage but are unhappy. With examples, they can understand that caste would not really decide whether a marriage would be successful or not.

Mediator

If you have somebody who can help you as well as convince your parents, then it would be perfect. Parents often trust and discuss their problems with some particular people. You should go and ask for help from those people.

Talk when decided

You should come to your parents when you have made your decision of marrying a person from a different caste. If you have any doubt regarding the person, you should first clear it out. It is only when your decision is full and final; you should start convincing your parents.

To conclude, it is really important to make your parents understand that it is not caste that creates a happy married life. Two people can stay happy with each other if they have mutual understanding and trust, irrespective of the caste.

Balancing home and work after marriage

Balancing home and work after marriage

Time moves very fast and every move brings a new change. Now, those days are gone when a woman was only confined to the four walls of the home and her only job was to perform the daily chores of the family. In the modern times, she is not only managing the home successfully but also working outside to give financial support to the family. The women of current times are educated and never let their education go waste. They take the optimum use of their qualification by continuing to work even after their marriage. At times, it becomes little Helter – skelter to make an ample balance between the home and the work.

Here are some notes to ease the management of home and work:

  • You must try to make a demarcation between home and work. That means, one must never indulge in office work after reaching home. Try to separate work from your home and spend a good amount of time with the family.

  • Make a list of necessary household things to be done in a week so that you don’t forget them while you are engrossed in your work

  • If you are a workaholic, you can work for complete five days of the week but then Plan the weekends for the family fun only.

  • You must remember that you are married now. So, its your foremost priority to devote your quality time to your life partner.

  • A refreshing break is always required. Do not forget to find some time to pamper yourself.

  • Women who have a lot of work to do at home may opt for part time jobs as compared to the full time jobs where there is more work load.

  • You should remember that work is meant for you and you are not meant to work. So, work according to your physical capacity.

Hence, by keeping these things in mind, a healthy balance between home and work can be established.
